About the Sunshine Coast
The Sunshine Coast is a rare combination of accessible coastline and wild hinterland. The coast itself — 60 km of beaches from the family-friendly shores of Caloundra through to the boutique elegance of Noosa — offers safe swimming, surf breaks, rock pools, and esplanades lined with cafés. Inland, the landscape changes dramatically: the volcanic Glass House Mountains rise from the coastal plain, the Blackall Range is draped in subtropical rainforest, and the villages of Maleny and Montville are a world of artisan cheese, handmade chocolate, galleries, and lookouts that stretch to the ocean.
