European Tours FAQ

Everything Australians ask us before booking a European holiday.

April to June and September to October are ideal shoulder seasons — mild temperatures, lighter crowds and great sightseeing conditions across Italy, France and Greece. July and August are peak season with higher prices. December to January is perfect for Christmas markets in Germany, Austria and France. Given the long-haul flight from Australia, most travellers aim for at least 10–14 days to make the journey worthwhile.
Australian passport holders currently enjoy visa-free access to Schengen Area countries for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is expected to require a pre-travel online authorisation. Always check the latest requirements on the Australian Government Smartraveller website before your departure date, as entry conditions can change.
Our European tours typically host between 10 and 16 guests — small enough to skip the queues that large bus tours face, gain access to smaller venues, and enjoy a much more personalised experience with your guide. Many of our guests travel as couples, solo or in small groups of friends.
Absolutely. A significant number of our European tour guests travel solo, and many form lasting friendships. The small-group format makes connecting with fellow Australians natural and easy. Single supplement options are available on most itineraries — ask us about twin-share options to reduce costs.
Our packages typically include quality hotel accommodation (twin share), air-conditioned luxury coach transport between destinations, English-speaking expert local guides, listed entrance fees and selected meals. International flights from Australia are not included, giving travellers flexibility to source their own flights or add-on through us. Ask about our complete inclusions list when enquiring.
