Escape the Concrete Jungle β Get Sky High in the Rainforest
The TreeTop Challenge at the Big Pineapple is Australia's largest and highest high ropes adventure park, suspended through 8 acres of stunning coastal rainforest in Woombye on the Sunshine Coast. This isn't your average ropes course β it's a full half-day adventure featuring 120+ aerial obstacles and 12 ziplines spanning 20 to 140 metres in length, with the highest courses soaring more than 30 metres above the forest floor.
Run by an award-winning, family-owned ecotourism company, the TreeTop Challenge is designed to take you on a progressive journey from confidence-building beginner courses all the way to heart-pumping extreme heights. Six unique courses β colour-graded from Green (easy) through to Black Diamond (terrifying) β mean there's a genuine challenge for everyone, whether you're an 8-year-old tackling your first zipline or a seasoned adventure seeker pushing your limits.
The park is entirely self-paced, so you move through each circuit at your own speed and can repeat courses as many times as you like. After conquering the canopy, the Big Pineapple precinct offers Wildlife HQ Zoo, Sunshine & Sons Distillery, the Pineapple Train, and Climb the Pine β making it easy to fill an entire day at this one location.
Six Courses β Easy to Extreme
Each course is colour-graded so you know what you're getting into. Start easy, build confidence, then go as high as you dare.
Confidence Builders
Two beginner-friendly courses designed for everyone in the family. Low-to-moderate heights through the rainforest canopy with introductory ziplines and obstacles. A chance to get comfortable in the harness and enjoy the scenery before stepping things up.
Face Your Fears
Things step up with bigger ziplines, ninja-style games, and genuinely impressive heights. Stunning views from the canopy open up. This is where most people start to feel the adrenaline β and where the real fun begins.
Pushing Limits
Higher, longer, and more physically demanding. Larger ziplines and complex obstacles that require real commitment to complete. This course stretches you beyond your comfort zone while surrounded by breathtaking rainforest views.
Australia's Highest & Scariest
The final two circuits are believed to be the highest and scariest commercial high ropes courses in Australia. Heights exceed 25β30 metres with obstacle challenges designed to absolutely push you beyond what you thought possible. Serious adrenaline only. Ages 14+ with 180cm reach required.
